VBS 2010 "Power Kids" Backyard VBS is wrapped up!

Despite coolish mornings, Crossroads' Power Kids enjoyed a week of fun and engagement with the stories of Jesus as a boy in the Temple, and inviting the children to "come to him" as an adult. The crafts, the worship and story-time, and this year's additions of drama (presented in worship on VBS Celebration Sunday, July 25 to the congregation's great enjoyment) and hand drumming made for a full and fun week for the children, teen leaders, and adults who participated.

This year's VBS Outreach project was in support of the "Tiny Bundles" program of the Surrey Food Bank. The VBS Power Kids of 2010 assembled 120 "graduation gift bags" for toddlers leaving the program. Thanks to VBS families, leaders and the congregation for your outstanding support of this Outreach project this year!
