This service grows out of the week-long experience of children, youth and adults in Vacation Bible School, and is a high-energy, lots of music, movement and creative engagement with the Biblical story, worship service. All ages are welcome to come and worship God in celebration of the week of VBS!

Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 10:30 am Anticipated to be the "Final Service" in our Current Sanctuary

As we expect to be moving our worship service to the Firehall Centre for the Arts (114th St and 84th Ave.) in September, this service is anticipated to be the final service in our current building configuration. The closing of our worship on this day will give thanks to God for the current sanctuary which served our founding congregation (St. John's) from 1983, and for the current CE Hall, built in the 1960's, which also housed worship in the past, and which will be demolished. This is an important step along the journey of Crossroads United Church faithfully living out our vision, and we invite all current Crossroads folks and former members of our two founding congregations to join us as we give thanks to God for the ministry that has been housed in this space, and offer ourselves anew to the future God is creating with us in the new space of Crossroads United Church.
