Financial Stewardship

We live out our faith by being conscious participants in God's world and being good stewards of all the gifts that God gives us.
One function of our Finance and Stewardship Team at Crossroads is to educate, promote and provide information to the congregation about our financial life. The financial health of our church is dependent on our commitment to individual stewardship and what we each can personally give to God through the ministries of our church.
Generous donations of time, Spirit-given gifts, and money from our congregants enable us to be a self-supporting church.
Identified charitable donations made to the church are receipted at year end and provide tax deductions for these givings.
"The person who plants a little will have a small harvest, but the person who plants a lot will have a big harvest....You should not be sad when you give, and you should not give because you are forced to give.... God can give you more blessings than you need. Then you will always have plenty of everything - enough to give to every good work."
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NCV
PAR Information
PAR is Pre-Authorized Remittance, i.e. Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) or automatic bank withdrawal. Many of our congregants use this PAR method of giving to ensure that their financial contribution is received on a regular monthly basis and that the work and ministry of the church is honoured. For further information on methods of giving, please call the church office at: 778-593-1043.
"Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of Lights within there is no variation or shadow due to change."
James 1:17 NRSV
